China CDC publishes Xinfadi viral genome sequence data

In the evening of 18 June 2020, the China CDC officially released the "Novel Coronavirus National Science and Technology Resource Service System" Epidemic and viral genome sequence data of Xinfadi Market on its official web-site. The three data come from the genome sequence data of confirmed cases in Beijing (NMDC60013902-01, NMDC60013903-02) and the genome sequence data of environmental samples (NMDC60013903-03). 

The China CDC has also submitted the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic situation and viral genome sequence data to the World Health Organization and the Global Shared Influenza Data Initiative (GISAID) for sharing with the international community.

The novel coronavirus national science and technology resource service system is jointly constructed by the National Microbiological Science Data Center led by the Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the National Pathogen Microorganism Resource Bank led by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
