On 4 June 2020, Juneyao Air issued a warm reminder on the refund and change of Singapore transit tickets. Passengers need to meet the relevant conditions before they can transfer in Singapore. At the same time, they issued a notice regarding the refund and change of Singapore transit tickets.
According to the notice, passengers can transfer in Singapore after meeting the following two conditions at the same time: 1. Before passengers take the pre-arrival flight to Singapore, the previous flight carrier must handle joint check-in, print out the Juneyao Air return flight boarding pass and transfer luggage directly to Shanghai. 2. Singapore must be the only transit point overseas for all passenger travel.
In addition, according to the latest regulations of the new party, Singapore’s transfers need to be applied to the new civil aviation authority in advance by the flight department that arrived in the new flight. Juneyao Air has actively communicated with the relevant foreign airline partners through bilateral cooperation channels and hopes that it will submit a transfer application to the new competent authority as soon as possible to assist Chinese citizens to successfully transfer back to China.
On the same day, the official website of the Chinese Embassy in Singapore issued a message to remind Chinese citizens not to rush into new transfers. If Chinese citizens plan to make new transfers, be sure to check with the previous carrier airline (that is, the airline that transfersy passengers to the new airline) in advance to determine whether they have been granted New Civil Aviation Authority permission.
At the same time, the ticket issue date is 30 June 2020 and the carrier date is 3 June 2020 (inclusive) on Juneyao Air Singapore flight tickets, subject to transit policy. As a result, passengers who apply for refunds and changes before the flight takes off and provide transfer certificates (such as the arrival of new flights in the previous order) will be exempt from the relevant refund handling fee or the first rescheduling handling fee.
