The Chinese Communist Party media has been avoiding the epidemic for some time, but on 28 August 2020, Xinhua News Agency suddenly reported on its website in a prominent position, "The lies and truth in McCall's report on politicizing the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic."
Few Chinese people may know who McCall is. Party media took the initiative to introduce Michael McCall, a Republican on the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives, saying that he recently released an investigation report on SARS-CoV-2.
In fact, the investigation report of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the U.S. Congress was released in June and updated in July. The CCP media has always pretended not to know, and most Chinese people cannot know. However, Trump suddenly said that the CCP should be held accountable for concealing the epidemic and let the CCP take full responsibility. The McCall report is obviously one of the reasons.
This is not trivial to the CCP, and the party media had to respond. What is worse is that this report is also available in Chinese. Xinhua News Agency can only bite the bullet and "refute" certain contents of the investigation report, but did not expect to review the CCP’s concealment. The truth of the epidemic also actively leaked new evidence.
On 30 December, Wuhan issued an "Emergency Notice"
The first content of the investigation report that Xinhua News Agency tried to refute was: failing to learn the lessons of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), concealing epidemic data and covering up the facts in the early stage.
According to Xinhua News Agency, on 27 December 2019, Hubei Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine reported a case of pneumonia of unknown cause to the Jianghan District Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Wuhan. To this day, the CCP insists that the first reported case was on 27 December 2019.
The authoritative medical journal "The Lancet" papers and internal CCP documents obtained by the South China Morning Post confirm that the earliest cases have been discovered from 17 November to 1 December 2019; the New England Journal of Medicine paper confirms that in the middle of December, the CCP virus spread from person to person. Xinhua News Agency still stated that the case was only reported on 27 December.
Xinhua News Agency also stated that on 30 December, the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission issued the "Emergency Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Treatment of Unexplained Pneumonia" to medical institutions in the jurisdiction.
This is a new piece of evidence provided by the Chinese Communist Party media. Wuhan actually confirmed human-to-human transmission on 30 December and issued an "urgent notice." Before that, the CCP had never said that there was such a notice.
In fact, on the same day, on December 30, eight doctors including Ai Fen and Li Wenliang, emergency directors of Wuhan Central Hospital, issued and forwarded the "SARS Coronavirus" test report on the WeChat group to warn of the epidemic. Eight doctors were reprimanded by the CCP police.
If the CCP issues an "Emergency Notice" for epidemic prevention, who has it been sent to? Why don't people in Wuhan know. Why are doctors silenced?
Xinhua News Agency’s lie nine months later can only confirm the CCP’s lie nine months ago. This lie deceived people in Wuhan, the Chinese, and the world, and CCP is still deceiving.
The SARS-CoV-2 test kit first appeared on 10 January 2020
The second content of the report that Xinhua News Agency tried to refute was: to downplay the risk of human-to-human transmission.
This is also the second key point for the CCP to conceal the epidemic. In this regard, the Xinhua News Agency’s explanation is very weak, and there is no way to evade it. As a result, Xinhua News Agency said, "On 10 January, a preliminary test kit was developed...and organized active screening of patients in Wuhan's fever clinics."
On 10 January, the CCP had already had a test kit and began to screen outpatients, which just confirmed that the virus had spread from person to person. But also on January 10, the CCP’s National Health Commission again emphasized that there was no human-to-human transmission.
Xinhua News Agency also voluntarily admitted that "On 14 January, the National Health Commission held a video and telephone conference on the national health system to make another deployment for the national epidemic prevention and control work."
This shows that Wuhan was already spreading from person to person on a large scale at that time, and the risk of spreading to the whole country was increasing. On 14 January, the CCP had to meet to "deploy again." But also on 14 January, the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission announced that “no related cases have been found among close contacts.”
The Xinhua News Agency was unable to defend the concealment of human-to-human transmission, and was forced to show these two facts, which once again became new evidence for the CCP to conceal the epidemic.
Asymptomatic infections are not included in the confirmed cases
The third point in the investigation report that Xinhua News Agency tried to refute: manipulating case statistics, asymptomatic infections are not counted as confirmed cases.
The Xinhua News Agency has basically made no objection to the statistics on the manipulation of cases, and it is obviously afraid that it will become more and more dark.
Xinhua News Agency also simply admitted that "asymptomatic infections are not included in the confirmed cases."
According to Xinhua News Agency, “Asymptomatic infections actually include two groups of people. The first part...there are no symptoms from beginning to end, or the symptoms are very mild. There are still some people...have entered the incubation period and may not have symptoms at the time of testing. Symptoms do not appear until later, and this type of situation is inappropriate for the confirmed case.
Asymptomatic infections recognized by the CCP actually include "mild symptoms" and "late symptoms." These are not asymptomatic infections at all, but they are not confirmed cases. The CCP admits in disguised form that it has manipulated case statistics.
Xinhua News Agency also said that “the same attention is paid to asymptomatic infections as to suspected and confirmed cases. The relevant departments have been paying close attention to these people and have adopted strict isolation and medical observation measures against them.”
Previously, the CCP vigorously promoted Fangcang shelter hospitals. According to the CCP’s data, 100% of those diagnosed in Wuhan were admitted to Fangcang shelters or designated hospitals. However, in order to conceal the true data, other isolation points have been concealed. In fact, there are a large number of such isolation points. Even if symptoms occur, those that are not detected or cannot be detected, they are certainly not confirmed cases. This time, Xinhua News Agency stabbed out the isolation point, so-called asymptomatic infections and suspected cases were placed in an undisclosed isolation point.
The asymptomatic infection is not suspected, but the infection has been confirmed. Yet, it is not counted in the confirmed cases. How many such asymptomatic infections or suspected cases exist? How many isolation points are there? Where did all these people go?
Xinhua News Agency, of course, did not dare to say any more, and it would reveal a great secret. Even so, the CCP’s self-defined asymptomatic infections and the existence of isolation points confirm that the CCP has indeed fabricated case statistics.
Dare not mention any facts with the WHO
The fourth point in the investigation report that Xinhua News Agency tried to refute was that the information disclosed by the World Health Organization lacked transparency and tried its best to defend China, which had a negative impact on the global response.
The Xinhua News Agency wanted to deny it, but did not dare to mention any facts, worrying that the more it mentioned, the more it would prove that the CCP and the WHO played a double role.
The real facts are:
On 24 January, the World Health Organization stated that it was too early to declare a "global health public health emergency."
On 28 January, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus met with Xi Jinping in Beijing and said that the CCP "prevents the epidemic in a timely and effective manner", "the epidemic is open and transparent," and "is protecting the people of the world."
On 30 January, the World Health Organization declared a "global public health emergency", but did not recommend restrictions on travel to China.
On 24 February, Tedros called on not to restrict travel to China, stating that "this epidemic can be controlled."
On 29 February, the WHO reiterated that it does not recommend travel restrictions on countries where the outbreak occurred. It also stated that countries that have taken measures should submit public health reasons to the WHO within 48 hours.
On 2 March, the epidemic spread to 65 countries. Tedros said that a "global pandemic" has not yet been declared.
On 9 March, the epidemic broke out in many European countries. Countries around the world have successively adopted measures such as closing borders. But Tedros said this will be "the first pandemic in history that can be controlled."
On 11 March, the World Health Organization declared a global pandemic.
Xinhua said nothing about these facts, but accused the United States of withdrawing from the WHO. Xinhua News Agency continued to quote Tedros' words as a basis for accusing the United States. The CCP and Tedros are both defendants and are still testifying to each other. Such a defense is too low-level.
What's more, this fourth article is mainly aimed at the WHO, but the CCP took the initiative to stand up for Tedros, which just proves the CCP's guilty conscience. Apart from a guilty conscience, the CCP dare not use any facts as a basis, and can only substitute accusations for justification.
The CCP fearfully argues that it is not a "perpetrator"
The fifth item in the investigation report that Xinhua News Agency tried to refute: China confuses data and hides relevant public health information. If China acts in a transparent and responsible manner, the global pandemic may be avoided.
The first sentence of the Xinhua News Agency’s rebuttal, perhaps no one would have thought, said, “The epidemic is a natural disaster, not a man-made disaster. China, like other countries, is a victim, not a perpetrator.
The term "perpetrator" was uttered by the CCP itself. What Trump said is that the CCP should take full responsibility. Other countries are still in the stage of condemnation, suspicion, and investigation. However, the CCP has become a panic and has proactively said the term "injury". The investigation report only stated that the CCP concealed the epidemic, and did not directly accuse the CCP as the "perpetrator". However, the CCP has countered itself as the "perpetrator." .
With a guilty conscience, Xinhua News Agency’s defense was equally weak, and it used Gao Li, the WHO representative in China, as a shield. However, Gao Li has whistled that the WHO has repeatedly raised the origin of the virus and the CCP has rejected it. From 3 to 16 January, the CCP did not report new cases, and the WHO only knew what the CCP had reported to them.
Xinhua News Agency also declared that "from 24 January 24 to 8 April, neither commercial flights nor trains left Wuhan to other cities in China or overseas."
The Xinhua News Agency dared not talk about what happened before the lockdown of Wuhan. On 13 January, Thailand found a confirmed covid case from Wuhan. On 17 January, Thailand found a second case of covid.
On 20 January, South Korea confirmed the first covid case, a Chinese woman from Wuhan.
On 21 January, the first case of covid was discovered in the United States.
According to the analysis of data collected from the United States and China, the New York Times learned that in January, at least 430,000 people arrived in the United States by plane from China.
On 31 January, Trump announced the closure of China, which was strongly criticized by the CCP and has continued to criticize since then.
