The Netherlands and Belgium also have cases of re-infection, which may become the norm

The Dutch and Belgian media reported on 25 August 2020 cases of re-infection of patients recovered from covid in the two countries. Both cases of secondary infection have been confirmed by genetic testing of the virus twice. Previously, Hong Kong had confirmed a case of re-infection. CCP experts say that secondary infections may become normal.

The Dutch public television (NOS) recently reported that the confirmed re-infection patient in the country is an elderly person with weakened immunity.

In an interview with NOS, toxicologist Marion Koopmans, a consultant to the Dutch government, pointed out that to confirm whether a second-degree infection has really occurred, it is necessary to perform samples on both the first and second infections of the patient. The genetic test is compared to determine that the two infections before and after the virus has slightly changed before it can be determined as a secondary infection.

Gibmans said that if there are only a few cases of re-infection, he is not nervous, but it is important to observe whether this situation will occur frequently.

According to a report by the Belgian public-run Landers Radio and Television Station (VRT), the patient who was diagnosed with a second infection in Belgium a few days ago was a woman. She was diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 for the first time in the second week of March. The virus was tested positive again in May but the patient’s symptoms were relatively mild.

Belgian virologist Marc Van Ranst told the VRT during an interview that this case showed that the antibodies produced by the patient during the first infection were not enough to resist slightly different virus variants, thus causing a case of secondary infection.

Earlier, the Hong Kong University team discovered on the 25th that a Hong Kong man who had suffered from CCP pneumonia and had fully recovered was recently diagnosed with covi again after a lapse of more than 4 months. Therefore, he was confirmed as the world’s first case of secondary infection or re-infection. Zhang Wenhong, an epidemic prevention expert in mainland China, said at the time that once a secondary infection occurs, covid may become normal.

The emergence of secondary infection cases clearly confirmed for the first time that patients with covi  also have the risk of being infected again after they have recovered and cannot obtain life-long immunity.

In fact, several authoritative research results have shown that the human body's antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 can only last for a few months. The so-called "lifetime immunity" has long been suspected, but there is no definite evidence.

If the recovered patient is tested positive for the virus again, but there is no difference between the two detected viruses, experts generally call it a case of fuyang. In this case, it is impossible to determine whether the latent virus in the patient's body has relapsed. So it is difficult to determine whether a fuyang case is a secondary infection.

As a matter of fact, the cases of the infected people who tested positive again after recovery occurred in China, Europe, America and Asia in large numbers as early as a few months ago. However, the Chinese Communist Party officially classified all cases in mainland China as "fuyang", and tried to exaggerate "only a virus in the body" and "not contagious". However, the news from the people shows that fuyang patients are also threatened with their lives and are equally infectious.

Because the CCP has always concealed the epidemic,  how many of the fuyang cases are secondary infections is unknown to the outside world.

In fact, according to existing research, even if there is no difference between the two detected viruses, it may be the result of the secondary infection, because the effectiveness of the covi antibody generally can only be maintained for two to three months.

In addition, even if it is not a secondary infection, it is still difficult for the medical community to judge the risk of the patient's own virus "rejuvenating". This is because experts are still unable to determine whether the so-called "cured" patients will have residual viruses in their bodies, and whether these residual viruses will be latent in the human body like HIV, and then break out again at a certain time.
