National Health Commission implictly admits various local medical units have under-reported health statistics

There have been reports in the Chinese independent media that the number of covid deaths in Wuhan is far underestimated and the number of covid cases in Wuhan is ten times the original number reported by the Hubei Health Commission. The number of covid cases elsewhere in the People's Republic of China are also suspicious figures.

Li Keqiang has several times reiterated the importance of keeping the covid tally transparent and accurate. However, it is suspected that hospitals in Wuhan and Beijing were reporting false statistics.

Therefore, the National Health Commission has probably decided to reverse the situation by releasing updated guidelines on the importance of reporting health statistics correctly for the benefit of the public and the world.

It is everyone's hope that local health commissions and medical units such as hospitals and clinics will report the case statistics of diseases and illnesses correctly to the authority.
