Pompeo said, “They (the CCP) are not using tanks and guns, but using economic power to stifle freedom. The CCP habitually retaliates against innocent people. Zdeněk Hřib worked hard to deepen its relationship with Taiwan; Shanghai cancelled its cooperation with Prague because Prague and Taipei had established sister cities."
He also mentioned that the late Czech Senate Speaker Jaroslav Kubera planned to visit Taiwan, but was threatened by the CCP. At the same time, he expressed support for the current Speaker of the Speaker Miloš Vystrčil, who will visit Taiwan this month, "This is a good thing"!
