At the same time, Pompeo also suggested that the United States should contact the Chinese people and receive a large number of dissidents from China to understand the wishes of the Chinese people.

In his speech, Pompeo also emphasized that to change China, it is not only the power of the United States, but the input of its allies and all Chinese people. Therefore, in his speech on July 23, Pompeo also invited the famous Chinese democracy leaders Wei Jingsheng and Wang Dan to attend.

In answering questions, Pompeo also mentioned that the United States will always support those Hong Kong people, Taiwanese, and Uyghurs who fight for freedom and democracy.
