Dalian, Liaoning Province, officially notified on 23 July 2020 that after 111 days, there are 3 newly confirmed local cases and 12 asymptomatic infections, and the SARS-CoV-2 was detected in the environment outside the company where the patient was located. Once the news was released, it attracted attention from all parties.
Dalian Bay is the southernmost bay of the Liaodong Peninsula. It belongs to Ganjingzi District of Dalian City. It is the largest aquatic product trading center and distribution center in northern China, and is famous for its seafood. Most of the infected persons found this time were concentrated in an aquatic product processing enterprise in the area.
At about 3 pm that day, the reporter drove west along Zhenxing Road all the way in downtown Dalian, and then entered Dalian Bay. In front of the Dalian Kaiyang Aquatic Products Factory, a cordon has been set up, and several workers wearing protective clothing are carrying out killing operations near the factory. A staff member told reporters that at present the entire plant has been closed for control and all personnel are not allowed in.
Next to the factory, the originally densely packed shops have already locked the shutter doors, and the surrounding streets have also been blocked. By the road near the factory, occasionally pedestrians hurried past.
According to the report, from 23 July, 160,000 people in the Dalian Bay area will undergo nucleic acid testing.
The reporter saw in many communities in Dalian Bay that with the development of large-scale nucleic acid testing, medical staff walked into residential communities and tested them for free. At the gate of Beisan Community, Dalian Bay Street, under the guidance of on-site staff, residents lined up to prepare for nucleic acid testing. The on-site sampling work was in order, and one person's sampling work could be completed within half a minute.
"I was notified to come back for an accounting test at noon today." Citizen Ms. Liu said that she received a notice after seeing the news in the morning and asked to go home for a nucleic acid test. Mr. Li, who lives in Dalian Bay Yuanbaoshan District, said that since there are many residents working in aquatic product processing in the district, nucleic acid tests should be done for the safety of others and themselves.
According to regulations, the communities near the factory are closed and controlled. Warning lines have been set up at the entrances and exits of many communities in Dalian Bay to implement closed measures, and there are dedicated personnel at the entrances and exits of the communities to maintain order. Opposite Dalian Bay Middle School, the staff used iron sheets and fences to implement closed management of some communities.
All major intersections of Dalian Bay Street have also been completely eliminated. Several sprinklers are parked in front of the Dalianwan Sub-district Office. The disinfection work here is still in progress, and the air is filled with a slightly pungent smell of disinfectant water.
From the 23rd, Dalian’s theaters, amusement halls, cultural centers (stations), Internet cafes, dance halls, KTVs, indoor scenic spots and other related cultural tourism enterprises and units will also be temporarily closed. At the time of press, the ticket sales system of all theaters in Dalian has been suspended, and theaters that have just resumed operations have also suspended screenings and refunded their tickets.
In the evening, the Information Office of the Dalian Municipal People’s Government issued a reminder of "Citizens should not leave if necessary in the near future", reminding the public to minimize non-essential gathering activities. Residents in controlled areas must strictly abide by the relevant prevention and control requirements and "wear masks." , Wash hands frequently and gather less".
