SCAT Airlines relief flight to Xi'an on 21 July 2020 as Kazakhstan covid tally crosses 51000

On 8 July 2020, according to the Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan, the embassy plans to cooperate with SCAT Airlines to re-open commercial flights for expatriates.

According to the news, the cooperation between the two parties plans to resume Xi'an-Almaty flights on 21 July  2020, and the tickets will be sold online.

All passengers must provide detection proof of the lack of novel coronavirus infection. The detection time should not be earlier than 17 July 2020.

It is worth noting that the evacuation flights only target Kazakh citizens.

According to Kazakhstan's covid epidemic information comprehensive release platform news, as of 8 July 2020, before the press, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Kazakhstan increased to 51059 cases, of which 16,928 cases were cured, and 264 deaths.

A total of 51,059 covid cases diagnosed are: 6057 cases in Nur-Sultan, 6501 cases in Almaty, 3659 cases in Shymkent, 1512 cases in Akmora, 1850 cases in Aktobe, and 2750 in Almaty Cases: 6156 cases in Atyrau, 2313 cases in East Harbin, 1866 cases in Zhampur, 3509 cases in West Hajj, 5520 cases in Karaganda, 1203 cases in Costanera, 1487 cases in Kyzyl Orda, Mann There were 1672 cases in Gistao region, 1507 cases in Pavlodar region, 1446 cases in North Kazakhstan region, and 2051 cases in Turkstan region.

Throughout the day on 7 July, 1376 new covid cases were added across the country, of which 847 were asymptomatic.
