Foreign airlines exported more than 100 new covid cases to Wuhan from 30 October 2020

1 new confirmed case of imported covid in Wuhan raising the overall tally of Hubei to 68,148

According to the website of the Hubei Provincial Health Commission, on 15 November 2020, 1 new confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (covid) (imported from abroad, from Jakarta, Indonesia-Wuhan Sriwijaya Air flight SJ3124) has been transferred to designated medical institutions for treatment). There are no new  suspected cases, no new discharged cases, and no new deaths.

As of 15 November 2020, there are currently a total of 9 confirmed cases in Hubei province (all imported from abroad, 4 cases from New Delhi, India-Wuhan AI1314 flight on 30 October, 4 cases from Jakarta, Indonesia-Wuhan SJ3124 on 6 November flight, 1 case came from Jakarta-Wuhan flight SJ3124 on 13 November, and all have been transferred to designated medical institutions for treatment). There are currently 0 suspected cases. A total of 63,627 cases were cured and discharged, and a total of 4,512 cases died. The province has reported a total of 68,148 confirmed cases of covid.

As of 15 November 2020, 25 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under centralized isolation for medical observation (all imported from abroad) including 22 cases from New Delhi-Wuhan Air India flight AI1314, 2 cases came from Jakarta-Wuhan flight SJ3124, Indonesia and 1 case from Minsk-Hohhot Air China flight CA722), and 261 close contacts (of 14 cases) are still in centralized isolation for medical observation.

Sriwijaya Air and Air India exported covid cases to Wuhan from 30 October 2020

On 30 October,  New Delhi-Wuhan flight AI1314 introduced  14 covid cases to Wuhan. On 6 November, Indonesia's Jakarta-Wuhan flight SJ3124 introduced 98 cases while on 13 November, 86 confirmed and asymptomatic cases were introduced by flight SJ3124 to Wuhan. There are 60 cases of asymptomatic infections and close contacts of asymptomatic infected persons who returned to Hubei after the entry and isolation period of flight CA722 from Minsk to Hohhot on 16 October and 3 cases were close contacts of asymptomatic infections from other provinces.

Kashgar adjusted the epidemic risk level of four townships including Langan Town, Shufu County to low risk

 According to the official Weibo news of the Foreign Propaganda Office of Xinjiang Kashgar Prefecture Committee, the Kashgar Prefecture Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Work Headquarters issued an announcement on the 14th on adjusting the risk levels of some towns in Shufu County.

According to the announcement, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the State Council’s joint prevention and control mechanism for the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic and the situation of the novel coronavirus pneumonia in Kashgar, the Kashgar Region's Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Prevention and Control Work Headquarters researched and decided that from 15 November, the county will be Shufu County. The risk level of the epidemic in Ganzhen, Upal Town, Tashmirike Township, and Tierimu Township of Shufu County was adjusted from medium risk to low risk. After the adjustment, Shufu County must adhere to scientific prevention and control and precise prevention and control.

3 new imported confirmed cases in Yunnan

The Yunnan Provincial Health Commission announced on 15 November there were no new local confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections in the province from 0:00 to 24:00 on 14 November. However, there are three new imported confirmed cases, of which 1 case is of Myanmar nationality, and 2 cases are of Chinese nationality from Indonesia.

As of 15 November, there are currently 6 imported confirmed cases and 7 asymptomatic infections in Yunnan Province, all of which have been isolated for treatment and medical observation in designated medical institutions.

The newly confirmed case information is:

Confirmed case 1: Female, 22 years old, Myanmar nationality, is a confirmed case of imported asymptomatic infection from Myanmar reported on 11 November. All her close contacts have been isolated for medical observation and taken samples for nucleic acid testing as required.

Confirmed case 2: Male, 32 years old, Chinese nationality.

Confirmed case 3: Male, 40 years old, Chinese nationality.

Both of them work in Indonesia. They took the same Citilink flight from Jakarta and entered Kunming Airport on 13 November. Their body temperatures were normal at the time of entry. After the customs took samples, they were directly transferred by special vehicles to the designated isolation point for centralized isolation and observation according to the closed-loop management requirements. On 14 November, the nucleic acid test results of two people were positive, and they were transferred to a designated medical institution for isolation and treatment by a negative pressure ambulance. The expert diagnosed a confirmed case of novel coronary pneumonia (common type, imported from Indonesia).

Other personnel on the same plane continued to quarantine medical observations as required.

2 new imported confirmed cases in Tianjin

On 15 November, according to the official WeChat news of the Tianjin Health Commission, there were no new confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia in Tianjin from 0-24 on 14 November 2020. Two newly imported confirmed covid cases from abroad have been added.

As of 15 November, Tianjin has reported a total of 150 imported confirmed covid cases, 132 discharged cases, and 18 cases in hospital (1 case of severe type, 13 cases of normal type, 4 cases of light type).

Among the confirmed imported cases from abroad, 28 imported from the United States, 22 imported from Spain, 21 imported from France, 19 imported from the Philippines, 18 imported from the UK, 7 imported from Ukraine, 6 imported from Singapore, 5 imported from Guinea Cases, 3 imported cases from Algeria, 2 imported cases from Canada, 2 imported cases from Côte d’Ivoire, 2 imported cases from Czech Republic, 2 imported cases from Venezuela, 1 imported from Switzerland, 1 imported from Germany, 1 imported from Serbia, 1 imported from Sweden , Uzbekistan 1 case, Bolivia 1 case, Chad 1 case, Niger 1 case, Hungary 1 case, Russia 1 case, Kazakhstan 1 case, Senegal 1 case, Morocco 1 case (of which China 129 cases of nationality, 8 cases of Filipino nationality, 3 cases of American nationality, 3 cases of Ukrainian nationality, 2 cases of French nationality, 2 cases of Venezuelan nationality, 1 case of Uzbekistan nationality, 1 case of Russian nationality, 1 case of Kazakh nationality.

From 4 am on 14 November 2020, there were no new confirmed cases of local covid in Tianjin.

As of 24:00 on 14 November, Tianjin has reported a total of 139 confirmed cases of covid, 2 cases were treated in hospital (1 ordinary case, 1 mild case), 134 discharged cases, and 3 death cases, of which:

Among the confirmed cases, 60 were in Baodi District, 15 in Hedong District, 12 in Hebei District, 7 in Beichen District, 6 in Heping District, 6 in Nankai District, 5 in Binhai New District, 4 in Hexi District, 4 in Ninghe District, 4 cases in Dongli District, 4 cases in Xiqing District, 2 cases in Hongqiao District, 2 cases in Wuqing District, 2 cases in Jinnan District, 6 cases in Tianjin;

Among the discharged cases, 58 were in Baodi District, 14 in Hedong District, 12 in Hebei District, 7 in Beichen District, 6 in Heping District, 6 in Nankai District, 4 in Hexi District, 4 in Ninghe District, and 4 in Dongli District. 4 cases in Xiqing District, 3 cases in Binhai New District, 2 cases in Hongqiao District, 2 cases in Wuqing District, 2 cases in Jinnan District, and 6 cases in Tianjin.

There were no new asymptomatic infections in Tianjin, with a total of 97 cases (94 cases imported from abroad), of which 70 cases were released from medical observation, 16 cases were still under medical observation, and 11 cases were converted to confirmed cases.

At present, 8,940 close contacts have been traced through investigations, and 796 people are still under medical observation.
