After the super blood moon, there is a "ring of fire" solar eclipse

The sky on Wednesday (26 May 2021) is very exciting. This is not an ordinary full moon. Three celestial events will happen at the same time. Hypermoon, total lunar eclipse, and blood moon may appear in the sky of the western half of the United States.

According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), at 6:13 am on May 26, 2021, U.S.-China time, the moon will be on the opposite side of the earth from the sun and will be fully illuminated. This full moon was called the "Flower Moon" by the early Native American tribes because it was the time of the year when flowers appeared in large numbers in the spring.

Compared with other full moons in 2021, the "Hua Yue" will be the closest to the Earth, making it the closest and largest full moon to the Earth this year. This is also commonly referred to as the "supermoon" (supermoon). However, it brings more than just brightness and size. The super moon in May also brings the "super power" to change its color. Its color is red.

When a total lunar eclipse occurs, the moon completely passes through the shadow of the earth, or umbra. In this type of lunar eclipse, the moon will gradually darken, showing rust or blood red. This color is very eye-catching, and this lunar eclipse is sometimes called a blood moon.

Although there are many scientific explanations for these types of "blood moons", many Christians have also seen the meaning behind them. This is because they are directly mentioned in the Bible.

In the Old Testament Book of Joel 2:31  it is written: "The sun will turn into darkness, and the moon will turn into blood, before the day of the Lord's punishment comes."

There is a similar statement in the New Testament Acts 2:20: "Before the great and remarkable day of the Lord's coming, the sun will become dark and the moon will become bloody."

In the New Testament Revelations 6:12 (Revelations 6:12), the blood moon is also mentioned: "When he lifted the sixth seal, I saw a big earthquake, the sun was as black as sackcloth made of hair, and the moon become like blood".

There has not been a total lunar eclipse at the time of the supermoon for nearly 6 years. In the western United States and Canada, the entire territory of Mexico, most of Central America, and Ecuador, western Peru, southern Chile, and Argentina, a total lunar eclipse can be seen at moonset. The entire lunar eclipse can be seen in eastern Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, including Hawaii.

Unlike solar eclipses, lunar eclipses are safe to watch. You don't need special glasses, you just need to face the sky.

Also this year, just two weeks after the appearance of the Super Blood Moon, the world will experience a "ring of fire" solar eclipse on June 10, 2021.
