A group of Australian researchers from Griffith University, Menzies Health Institute Queensland and Beckman Research Institute have used gene-silencing RNA technology to kill SARS-CoV-2 (covi, short for coronavirus, novel coronavirus, CCP virus, covid virus) by up to 99.9%. 

Gene-silencing RNA technology directly destroys the covi genome group and prevents covi replication.
