Be careful! The latest research shows that SARS-CoV-2 infection may cause sexual dysfunction in men

It was shown that a male covid patient had worsening symptoms, causing the penis to continue to erect for 4 hours for no reason. After in-depth treatment, his attending physician said that there is a high possibility of contracting covid to cause men to no longer have an erection. The report pointed out that a 62-year-old man who had undergone left groin and appendectomy surgery also developed fever, dry cough, and dyspnea after being infected with SARS-CoV-2 (CCP virus, covi, novel coronavirus) and other typical symptoms of covid. He was sent to a French intensive treatment room wearing an artificial respirator. However, in addition to the symptoms of pneumonia, the doctor noticed that the patient also developed priapism for up to 4 hours.

The physician further diagnosed and found that thrombosis appeared in the patient's penis, and the blood was stuck in the internal cavernous body, which led to permanent penile erection. It is known that 30% of patients infected with the novel coronavirus will suffer from thrombosis, especially the symptoms of pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis, but penile thrombosis is the first time they have encountered it. After that, the doctor treated the patient by dredging the blood clotting inside the penis, and then injected drugs that stimulate sympathetic nerves, supplemented by blood anticoagulants twice a day to prevent the recurrence of thrombosis.

After two weeks of treatment, the patient was discharged from the hospital without any symptoms of thrombosis in the penis and other parts.

Covi stays in male penis for half a year, may cause male impotence

According to the report of the physician team at the Central Hospital of Versailles in France, in response to the patient’s symptoms, follow-up basic medical and clinical examinations found that the covi infection is indeed strongly associated with permanent erectile disease. If there are similar symptoms in the future, treatment should start immediately. Other studies have shown that the virus can exist in the male penis for up to 6 months after being infected with covid, which may cause male impotence.

Study: Covi survives on the skin for up to 9 hours

Reporter : Wang Lan / Editor : Zhang Xinyan / Source : The Epoch Times / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2020/10/21/a102967968.html / Translation, editing : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA

Japanese researchers have discovered that the virus SARS-CoV-2 (CCP virus, covi, novel coronavirus) that causes covid can survive on the skin for up to 9 hours, which is nearly five times of the influenza virus. This also indicates that frequent hand washing is necessary to prevent infection.

According to CTV, the new study was published in the Journal of Scientific Infectious Diseases earlier this month. The study reported that, by contrast, the virus that causes influenza can survive on the skin for about two hours.

The research states,"Compared with IAV (Influenza A virus), SARS-CoV-2 (the virus strain that causes COVID-19) survives on human skin for 9 hours, which increases the risk of contact transmission, thereby accelerating the pandemic."

In order to ensure that the test subjects are not infected by the CCP virus, researchers at Kyoto Prefectural Medical University in Japan used skin samples from human autopsy samples. The sample was collected about one day after death. Compared with other human organs, the skin can maintain its function even 24 hours after death.

Researchers report that covi survives on human skin samples for 9.04 hours, compared with 1.82 hours for influenza A virus. When these viruses are mixed with mucus from the upper respiratory tract to release virus particles in a way that simulates coughing or sneezing, covi survives on the skin even longer, lasting about 11 hours.

However, the two viruses will be inactivated within 15 seconds on the skin after applying an alcohol-based disinfectant (hand sanitizer) containing 80% ethanol.

The study said: "The longer life span of SARS-CoV-2 on the skin increases the risk of contact transmission. However, maintaining hand hygiene can reduce this risk."

The researchers pointed out that the study did not consider the "infectious quantity" of SARS-CoV-2, which means that it did not examine the number of virus particles required to contact infected skin to infect someone.

The study also used the virus on other surfaces, including stainless steel, heat-resistant glass, and plastic. Researchers found that covi can remain active on these surfaces for 58 to 85 hours, while the flu virus survived for about 6 to 11 hours.

The research report said that on all the tested surfaces, the survival time of covi was much longer than that of the flu virus but the researchers acknowledged that these results are similar to previous studies.

The results of the study support the current public health recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) to avoid infection, wash hands frequently and avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.

Viruses are everywhere in the mainland when environmental goods are tested, causing heated discussion

Reporter : Zhang Yujie / Editor : Li Qiong / https://www.epochtimes.com/gb/21/1/25/n12711504.htm / Translation, editing : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA

Recently, environmental samples, food or supplies samples have frequently been exposed in various parts of the mainland that have tested positive for nucleic acid, from ice cream, slippers, to imported cherries and beer. In this regard, some netizens said that the CCP continues to throw the pot away in order to cover up the real epidemic data.

The official Weibo of Daxing District, Beijing released information on 25 January. Beijing Southern Suburb Tumor Hospital conducted environmental tests on 23 January and found that samples collected inside and outside a double-decker garbage truck had "suspect results." The announcement stated that "the initial test results were all negative", but the hospital suspended outpatient services on the 23rd and did not accept hospitalization procedures.

The previous evening, the China CDC issued a notice stating that the vaccination units in some provinces and cities including “the desktops, walls, door handles and corridors of the vaccination unit (injection room, observation room, and external corridor, etc.) of environmental samples were positive for virus nucleic acid." , It is preliminarily determined that the viral nucleic acid in the vaccination environment comes from the vaccine solution.

The Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention stated in its conclusion that “it is not recommended to routinely conduct environmental specimen collection and nucleic acid testing for the vaccination unit; it is recommended to reduce the number of accompanying persons for the recipient”.

Prior to this, Wuxi notified that the virus was detected on imported cherry samples while Tianjin continuously notified that the virus was positive in ice cream samples and imported beer samples.

The above-mentioned series of news on the mainland has triggered heated discussions among netizens.

Some Twitter netizens left a message saying "Poison is everywhere!", "Vaccination is also poisonous."

Another netizen said, “You can check the imported food clearly enough! Why didn’t the source of the poison in the Military Toxin Institute stop?!” “It is not ruled out that the local epidemic cannot be suppressed. Use ice cream to shake the pot again”, “How can they be accurate? Do you know which box of ice cream has the virus?" "People with a bit of common sense won't believe that viruses are imported in this way."

"What happened frequently in the last two weeks, such as ice cream positives and toilet positives, suddenly disappeared? I suspect that the publicity of so many positives is to promote vaccination... But: why are there suddenly no?"

"The red bandits have thrown away the pot and reached a new height. Following the detection of the CCP virus from imported cars, imported auto parts and laptop computers a while ago, now the virus has been detected on ice cream again!"

"The Communist bandits are changing their tricks. This is the place where there is no silver three hundred taels." "The CCP is dead. Everything has already begun."

Up to now, the CCP virus epidemic in the mainland has spread across the country. According to official reports from the CCP, at least 20 provinces (cities) have confirmed cases. Since the CCP has always concealed the epidemic situation, real data cannot be counted, but Heilongjiang, Hebei, Shanghai and other places have already experienced similar situations in Wuhan in 2020.

Affected by the epidemic, Phuket, may postpone opening to international tourists

Report by : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA

Phuket originally planned to open to international tourists, who have been vaccinated, on 1 July 2021 without isolation. However, the plan may be postponed due to the spread of the third wave of the covid epidemic in Thailand.

Narong, Phuket's chief executive, said: "We have set a goal to reduce the number of new cases in a single day to single digits starting on 15 May so that Phuket can reopen to international tourists on 1 July. But if the daily number of new cases in Phuket is between 10 and 15, the plan to open Phuket to international tourists on 1 July may not be realized."

Kusak Kukiatikul, director of the Department of Health of the Phuket Province, said that the current situation of the covid epidemic in Phuket is worrying. Clusters of confirmed cases continue to appear, and the number of confirmed cases in high-risk groups is increasing every day.

Critically endangered animal bongo gives birth to cub in Polish zoo

The staff of the Warsaw Zoo in Poland are very happy that bongo, a little purple antelope, was born in their park at the end of April this year. This is a critically endangered animal species, and it is difficult to reproduce.

Bongo, in English derived from the indigenous African language, or purple antelope has a beautiful appearance. On its red-brown coat, there are a series of eye-catching white and yellow pinstripes that make it stand out. It is the only serval with horns in both males and females.

According to the "Red List of Endangered Species" of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), purple antelope is one of the most endangered species in the world, with no more than 80 in the wild.

Bongo lives in the tropical jungles of Africa. It is the third largest antelope in the world and the largest antelope in the African forest.

In the past few decades, due to illegal hunting, occupation of habitats and their vulnerability to diseases such as rinderpest, the number of bongoes has declined sharply. At present, its captive population is larger than the wild population. According to Wikipedia, there are more than 400 bongoes in captivity and private breeding in zoos around the world.

Bongo is docile and timid. The Warsaw Zoo is the only zoo in Europe where the bongoes are kept in a fence open to tourists.

It is also difficult for the bongo to reproduce because it is very courageous.

This time the little bongo at the Polish Zoo was born without staff to look after it.

Sylwia Grodkowska, director of Warsaw's ungulate department, said that the little bongo was born at night. Its mother was a mother for the first time, and the zoo staff was at work in the morning. Only then did they know the birth of the little bongo.

Due to the cold weather, the newborn kid stayed indoors for the first two weeks.

Two weeks later, on May 6, the little bongo went for a walk outdoors for the first time. The little guy was very curious. He sniffed and looked west. It was very cute with two big ears.

Grodkovska said, "It is exploring and is still excited about the changing environment and new smells around it. We can see that it is very active."

Bongo cubs grow very fast in the population, generally starting to grow horns in 3 and a half months and weaning in 6 months.

Grodkovska said, "This is an antelope, and it is a small antelope. It now has two tasks: Eating and sleeping."
