Sichuan Airlines resumes cargo flight to India from 9 May 2021

Chinese Ambassador to India, Sun Weidong, tweeted that the first batch of 100 oxygen concentrators, 40 ventilators and other epidemic prevention materials donated by the Red Cross Society of China had been transported by Sichuan Airlines cargo plane from Chengdu, Sichuan to India. The outer box reads "Defeat the COVID-19, we are all together".

At the same time, the Chinese Red Cross decided to provide 1 million US dollars in cash to the Indian Red Cross to help India fight the epidemic.

The Director-General of the Indian Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council stated that Sichuan Airlines will resume operations from Chengdu to Bangalore on 9 May 2021 and resume operations from Chengdu to Chennai on 12 May. Prior to 26 April, due to the sudden change in the situation of the epidemic situation in India, Sichuan Airlines suspended cargo services to India.
