The covid epidemic in Wuhan continued to spread. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recently slandered the US military to bring the virus to Wuhan, which has been criticized by the public. A few days ago, foreign media Bitter Winter disclosed that before the outbreak in Wuhan, a pneumonia epidemic had spread in a concentration camp (also known as a re-education camp) in which millions of Uighurs were detained in Xinjiang, China.
The article in the Bitter Winter magazine, which has long been concerned about human rights in China, points out that in recent years, the Xinjiang government has widely set up concentration camps and detained millions of ethnic Muslims. These civilians have been forced to live in poor sanitation and have no proper medical system. In a crowded environment, unexplained deaths frequently occur.
The report pointed out that many people in Xinjiang who had been detained in concentration camps and their families revealed that many people died in Xinjiang concentration camps before the outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan. Because the authorities have sacrificed high-level confidentiality, they have not allowed the families of the deceased to investigate and learn the causes of the deaths. According to outside sources, the corpses of the deceased were forcibly cremated.
Binter Winter stated that many concentration camps in Xinjiang were converted from apartments. Windows were completely sealed with bricks, and too many people were detained in the prison cells, resulting in poor air circulation. Not only was the probability of a collective outbreak of Wuhan pneumonia high in Xinjiang, it is also very likely that other kinds of epidemic will have broken out locally.
