Zhejiang Province confirms 1 new COVID-19 (covid, in short) case in the county-level city of Haining, under the jurisdiction of Jiaxing City.
According to the official WeChat message from the Propaganda Department of Haining Municipal Committee of Zhejiang Province, the covid case is a man, 25 years old, from Yongjia county of Wenzhou. On 21 March 2020, the man flew onboard Air China flight CA1716 from Beijing to Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport where his mother fetched him back to Haining Dongtai Garment Co., Ltd. (a separate factory building) located in Xieqiao Town, Haining. The man drove back to Wenzhou to sweep the grave in the afternoon on 22 March 2020 and returned to Haining at 4 pm on 25 March 2020. At night, he showed symptoms of fever, headache and cough.
The man went to the fever clinic of a designated hospital in Haining for treatment. After comprehensive review of his epidemiological history, clinical manifestations and laboratory test results, his covid diagnosis was confirmed on 26 March 2020.
