On 10 March 2020, Xi Jinping visited Wuhan and inspected the Donghu community. Local residents disclosed that before Xi Jinping went, the residents of Donghu had sent meat, but nowhere else. On 11 March 2020, online videos show Gangyang Garden Community of Qingshan District and Jiang'an District use garbage trucks to transport vegetables and frozen meat. There is also the use of garbage trucks to move supplies. In Hanyang District, it was disclosed a funeral vehicle is used to pull supplies.
On 12 March 2020, some netizens successively posted pictures of materials such as pork and vegetables being transported by sanitation vehicles and ambulances in various places in Wuhan. Among them, an ambulance of Xinzhou District Orthopaedics Specialty Hospital with “Hubei Ambulance” printed on it was transporting meat “tail-to-tail” in front of a truck. The shops near the vehicle showed that it was located in Xima Street, Jiang'an District.
Some netizens criticized, "There is no car when saving people, yet there is an ambulance pulling meat."
In fact, some netizens had taken pictures of the use of garbage trucks as early as 7 March 2020.
In addition, some netizens said that they had suffered from bad symptoms when they ate meat pulled by garbage trucks.
