Latvia's Prime Minister Arturs Krišjānis Kariņš announced on 14 March 2020 that the Baltic government has decided to suspend all international sea, rail and air passenger transportation services from 17 March to 14 April 2020 in view of the worsening of the epidemic. According to the data from the Latvia Center for Disease Control and Prevention, as of 14 March, there are 26 confirmed cases of covid.
Jordan's Prime Minister Omar Razzaz issued a statement on 14 March 2020 saying that in view of the severe global epidemic situation, all international passenger flights to and from Jordan will be suspended from 17 March. Coupled with the previously announced border closure measures, except for commerce and transportation and diplomatic activities, Jordan's land, sea transportation and flight services will be cancelled. The only confirmed case in Jordan has been recovered and discharged on 13 March 2020 without any new cases reported.
The above countries that are implementing vital transportation cancellations are in addition to Brunei, Ecuador, Poland, the Philippines and Italy that have cancelled all forms of transportation services in view of the pandemic.
Mongolia is reinstating domestic flights and train services between Mongolian cities from 17 March 2020. The state news agency Montsame reported that 207 people who have close contact with the French national, the only known case of covid in Mongolia, have been tested negative for covid.
