According to the website of the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission, one new confirmed COVID-19 case was registered in Wuhan on 23 March 2020. The patient is a doctor of Wuhan Provincial People's Hospital (headquarters). His rental address is No. 137 Zhangzhidong Road, Ziyang Street, Wuchang District. He recently worked in the hospital and did not rule out infection within the hospital.
The Wuhan Municipal Health Commission has recorded 426 new discharged cases, 7 new deaths, and 0 new suspected case.
As of 24 March 2020, a total of 50006 confirmed cases have been reported in Wuhan. Based on statistics of the Great Epidemic Situation Network, there are 6549 cases in Jiang'an District, 5183 cases in Jianghan District, 6834 cases in Tongkou District, 4670 cases in Hanyang District, 7458 cases in Wuchang District, 2782 cases in Qingshan District, 4679 cases in Hongshan District, and 2462 in Dongxihu District There were 1,416 cases in Caidian District, 848 cases in Jiangxia District, 2114 cases in Huanghua District, 1072 cases in Xinzhou District, 1085 cases in Wuhan Development Zone (South Han), 2148 cases in East Lake Development Zone, 480 cases in East Lake Scenic Area, and 226 cases in the field. A total of 43214 people were cured and discharged, and 2524 patients died. There are 4268 confirmed cases in the city (1198 severe cases and 329 critical cases), and there is 0 suspected case.
On 23 March 2020, between 4 am and 4 pm, the fever outpatient clinics of Wuhan have seen 345 patients, 11 fewer than the previous day, of which 210 outpatients are first and new consultation cases. These data, including 135 cases of re-infection [ or negative-turned-positive, "fuyang"(复阳) ], are not included in the Hubei health commission's covid data in order to achieve "zero growth" in covid.
On the same day 10,441 people were tested for nucleic acid in Wuhan.
Provincial-wide as of 24 March 2020, 4200 patients are being treated in hospitals, of which 1203 are critically ill and 336 are severe critically ill, and they are all receiving isolation treatment at designated medical institutions. 276,597 close contacts have been tracked and 1491 Hubei people are still under medical observation.
