In the afternoon of 3 July 2020, at the 140th Beijing Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Work Press Conference, Pan Xuhong, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau and press spokesman, said that on the basis of continuing to maintain strict control of high- and medium-risk areas, it was decided to cancel the negative nucleic acid test certification within 7 days of leaving Beijing for residents from low-risk areas of the city starting from 4 July 2020.

After the above-mentioned news was released, the search volume of vacation, air tickets, scenic spot tickets and other sectors on the Ctrip platform increased rapidly. Among them, the instantaneous search volume of Beijing-related tourism products increased by more than 100% compared with yesterday's same period, and the instantaneous search volume of hotels and train tickets related to Beijing also increased by more than 200%.

In addition, according to Ctrip data, the number of air ticket reservations from 4.30 pm to 5 pm after the announcement of the news increased by nearly 300% from the 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm on the same day.

From the short-term and instant booking situation, Beijing to Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Sanya, and Guangzhou have become the five most booked routes. Ctrip said that recent heavy rains have occurred frequently. In addition to inquiring about the basic situation of epidemic prevention in the location, follow-up passengers should also pay attention to the weather and other information in a timely manner and arrange their itineraries reasonably.
