Hainan Airlines completes test flight at Meilan Airport Terminal 2 on 30 July 2020

According to Hainan Airlines, it has completed its official test flight at Haikou Meilan Airport Terminal 2 on 30 July 2020.

The newly built terminal can allow huge airliners such as Airbus A380 to land. The airport did not reveal when the new terminal will launch official operations. If operations were launched, the airport will have two runways for aircraft from domestic and international cities to land.
