Due to the spread of the covid pandemic, Japan has declared national "Emergency Situation". However, the special beds that can cope with covid are currently suffering from shortages or nearing shortages in 8 prefectures such as Tokyo. In in the case of nosocomial infections, medical institutions all over Japan are also faced with the dilemma of insufficient masks and staff.

According to the Kyodo News Agency's own investigations:
There are about 2,500 inpatients with pneumonia infected by the Communist Party of China in Tokyo, with only 2,000 special beds and a negative bed rate of 25.0%;
There are 137 inpatients in Shichuan County, with 170 special beds, with an empty bed rate of 19.4%;
There are 45 inpatients in Shiga County, with 49 special beds and an empty bed rate of 8.2%;
There were 765 inpatients in Osaka Prefecture, with 700 special beds, with a negative bed rate of 9.3%;
320 inpatients in Hyogo Prefecture, 296 special beds, with an empty bed rate of negative 8.1%;
There are 21 inpatients in Kagawa Prefecture, 24 special beds, and an empty bed rate of 12.5%;
There are 258 inpatients in Fukuoka Prefecture, with 300 special beds and an empty bed rate of 14.0%;
85 people in Okinawa were hospitalized with 85 special beds with an empty bed rate of 0.0%.

The survey pointed out that local cities such as Ishikawa, Hyogo, Kagawa, and Fukuoka already lack medical personnel and hospital beds. As soon as an explosive cluster infection occurs, they cannot provide the necessary treatment for the patients. How to complete the corresponding system requires Japan's emergency anti-covid epidemic reaction.

Meanwhile, it is reported that each Japanese family will only receive two cloth face masks from the Japanese Government, instead of every cloth face mask for every family member during the "Emergency Situation" period. Surgical and N95 face masks are also in shortages in Japan.

A YouTube video by Tommy Tommy Japan revealed that there are no penalties for going out to eat in Japan during the period but assemblies will be advised against by Japanese police.
