According to an internal e-memo of a Jakarta-based law firm dated 23 April 2020, the Jakarta authorities has further extended partial lockdown of the city to 22 May 2020 (from 13 May 2020). The Directorate-General Intellectual Property (DGIP) office reopens on 23 May 2020.

Offices that open will be punished or penalized.

Subject to the situation of the covid epidemic in Indonesia, the lockdown period may be extended.

It is reported the extension is due to many Jakarta offices and factories violating the work-from-home order during the partial lockdown period that was expected to end on 23 April 2020.
