His bat coronavirus research in Wuhan is deemed dangerous as it aims to study the infectivity of the coronavirus to humans and humans' immunity to the coronavirus.

A few days ago, the Australian government called on the international community to investigate the source of SARS-CoV-2 the virus responsible for the disease COVID-19 (covid, in short). It has won the support of many European and American countries. Although the CCP tried its best to block it, there is news that the Five Eyes Alliance is investigating and has targeted the  virus infection and immunity team leader of the Wuhan Institute of Viology (WIV), Zhou Peng, and Shi Zhengli, Director of the Wuhan Center for Viral Infectious Disease Research of WIV.

A few days ago, the Australian government publicly stated that in view of the severe disasters caused by SARS-CoV-2 in various parts of the world, all countries should support and be obliged to investigate the source and spread of the virus.

At the regular press conference on 27 April, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang called the proposal "political manipulation." At the same time, the Chinese ambassador to Australia Cheng Jingye threatened to boycott Australian products and Australian universities.

Despite all the obstructions from the CCP, it seems to be ineffective. Australia said it would not succumb to the CCP’s “economic blackmail” and insisted on an investigation. The British Daily Telegraph revealed that the intelligence agency "Five Eyes" composed of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States is investigating the source of the virus and has targeted WIV team leader of bat coronavirus infection and immunity, Zhou Peng, and Shi Zhengli, Director of the Research Center for New Infectious Diseases of WIV.

Apple Daily reported today (29th) that the Daily Telegraph reported that Zhou Peng and Shi Zhengli had participated in research projects jointly funded by the Australian and Chinese Communist governments in the past. Zhou Peng was sent to the Australian Animal Health Laboratory at public expense from 2011 to 2014 to study, and then carried out research work in Australia and the Duke-NUS Medical College in Singapore.

According to official information from the Communist Party of China, Zhou Peng “has long been engaged in the research of epidemiology of emerging viruses and antiviral immunity of bats, revealing the immune mechanism of long-term bats carrying SARS, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome and Ebola virus, but their own disease does not occur”, "He is at the forefront of the world in the field of bat and virus research."

The report revealed that Zhou Peng had arranged to transport live bats caught in the wild from Queensland to the Australian Animal Health Laboratory in Victoria, while studying abroad in Australia, euthanized the bats to study the deadly coronavirus they carry.

Allegedly, this study aims to prevent the next outbreak by understanding how the virus spreads from bats to humans but the work itself has high risk, and the outside world has been worried about the accidental leakage of the virus from the laboratory for many years, causing a global pandemic.

Shi Zhengli, Director of the New Infectious Disease Research Center of the WIV, has also lived in Australia as a visiting scholar for 3 months from 22 February 2006 to 21 May 2006. The Animal Health Laboratory of the Australian Science and Industry Organization is engaged in research, using horseshoe bat stool samples to identify whether they are the natural host of SARS coronavirus.

It was reported that when the epidemic broke out in Wuhan, Shi Zhengli once said that she could not sleep at night because she was worried that the virus was leaking from the laboratory, but then she changed her tone later and strongly denied that the virus leaked from the laboratory.

On the 28th, Renaud Girard, a columnist for the French newspaper "Le Figaro", published a brief review of relevant experts' current understanding of the source of the virus. They said that people still do not know when and how bats have transmitted coronavirus  to pangolins, do not know how pangolins infected humans. So, should all countries in the world investigate how the epidemic started in China?

The article pointed out that at the end of 2019, there are hundreds of wild animal markets across China, but the virus only appears in Wuhan. Is it a bit strange? Only Wuhan in China has a research institute to study the coronaviruses carried by bats and the infectivity of these coronaviruses. Therefore, the suspicion of whether there is a laboratory virus leak is not nonsense.

The article questioned why China (the China Communist Party) refused to be transparent. Why is it so resolutely rejecting international investigations? Are there any untold secrets? After the accident at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in 2011, the Japanese government immediately asked the experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency to conduct an investigation in order to deal with nuclear pollution. Why can't China (the China Communist Party) do the same?
