Airport operations in Jakarta remain 24 hours. Flights depart and arrive as per normal from 12 am on Good Friday (10 April 2020). There are no road closures or traffic rerouting on roads entering or exiting Jakarta but public land transport operation hours are limited from 6 am to 6 pm starting from 10 April 2020 to 23 April 2020, among Jakarta's partial lockdown measures for a period of 14 days.

According to The Jakarta Post and Bloomberg, other tighter physical distancing measures include closures of all government and private company offices that are not providing essential and emergency services. These offices are required to work from home mandatory. However, legal offices and the office of Directorate-General of Intellectual Property (DGIP) that are not providing essential services are closed from 13 April to 21 April 2020, according to an internal office email of an Indonesian solicitor whose staff are working from home during this period. The lockdown period may extend depending on the regulations of the Indonesian Government.

Schools, parks, museums, gymnasiums and stadiums are closed from 10 April to 23 April 2020.

Gathering of more than five people in public spaces are prohibited in Jakarta and its satellite towns Bekasi, Bogor and Depok. Weddings, however, are not banned. They are to be conducted in offices, according to Bloomberg.

The Indonesian Government has started food distribution to the poor living in Jakarta since 9 April 2020.
