This airport hotel is the second best, after Haikou Meilan Airport Hotel, for aircraft-spotting. Room-key deposit is required despite online payment. Payment using AMEX is not accepted. One has to inform the hotel the expected time of arrival in advance before 12 am. The airport hotel is of walking distance to the airport. It is situated in an area that is not flood-prone. One can see aircraft departing from the airport from level 5 onwards but the best views are outside the rooms of level 8.
