Hongkong Post resumes outbound international mail services on 3 July 2020

On 2 July 2020, Hongkong Post announced that as airlines began to gradually provide limited airmail carrying capacity and local postal notices in some countries resumed the acceptance of overseas mail, it has resumed sending mails to Asia and Europe since 3 July 2020.

However, the postal authorities of many countries have also informed that since their operations are still affected by the epidemic, local deliveries will be delayed.

According to the information obtained from Hongkong Post, the destination countries and the types of postal services that can be restored from 3 July 2020 include: India (all postal services [including express delivery services]), the Philippines (all postal services [Including express mail service]), the United Kingdom (express mail, easy postal service and all postal postal services), France (all postal services [including express mail service]), Poland (all postal services [including express mail service]), Spain (All postal services [includes express mail service]), Switzerland (all postal services [includes express mail service]), Estonia (all airmail postal services [includes express mail service]).
