Timeline of the major events in the COVID-19 pandemic that CCP must be responsible for

With the rapid spread of COVID-19 (covid, in short) and the death of a large number of patients, the China Communist Party (CCP)’s propaganda agencies and diplomatic system launched a series of propaganda campaigns and disseminated fake news to shirk their responsibility for deliberately concealing the epidemic, leading to the delays in the global response to the outbreak of the epidemic and other key issues including the source of the virus.

Italy online magazine Bitter Melon, according to the events edited by the online magazine and the daily schedule edited by the Daily Wire website, has added more related events, and listed the major events of the covid pandemic in a timeline below:

17 November 2019 : Wuhan found and diagnosed the first case of COVID-19.

10 December 2019 : 57-year-old street vendor Wei Gui Xian of Wuhan Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market, which sells wild animals, first developed symptoms of covid and was diagnosed shortly thereafter.

26 December 2019 : Wuhan patient data is sent to several Chinese gene sequencing companies, and they should test various new viruses. It is understood that at least one of these companies was ordered to stop testing and destroy related case samples.

27 December 2019 : Dr. Zhang Jixian from Hubei Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital reported to the Chinese health department that she believes that this sudden illness is caused by a new coronavirus.

31 December 2019 : Chinese senior officials informed the WHO representative in China that Wuhan reported local cases of “new pneumonia”. At the same time, the CCP Internet censorship department began to block searches for "Wuhan unexplained pneumonia", "SARS variation", and "Wuhan wildlife market".

1 January 2020 : Eight doctors sounded the epidemic alert caused by covid. They were detained and admonished by the CCP police for "spreading false information", including Dr. Li Wenliang (1986-2020) who later died of covid. He was also forced to sign an apology letter.

1 January 2020 : The Health Commission of Hubei Province ordered all gene sequencing companies contacted on 26 December 2019 to stop testing the virus SARS-CoV-2 (covi, in short) and destroy the case samples received (this proves that Wuhan virus-related data).

1 January 2020 : The government shuts down the Wuhan wildlife market, and does not sample and inspect those animals and cages, nor does it draw blood from market staff, nor does it check whether anyone may have been infected.

3 January 2020 : The National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China issued a national ban prohibiting all medical institutions from disclosing information about covid.

5 January 2020 : Professor Zhang Yongzhen of Shanghai Public Health Clinical Centre provided the gene sequence of Wuhan virus to Chinese authorities.

5 January 2020 : Wuhan Municipal Health Commission ceased to release daily updates of new cases of covid in Wuhan.

9 January 2020 : WHO issued a Wuhan epidemic statement, suggesting that a new coronavirus is circulating.

10 January 2020 : Wang Guangfa, a well-known medical expert from the Chinese government, told CCTV that covid is "in a controllable state" and most of them are "mildly ill" (it is said that after 11 days, Wang Guangfa's Wuhan virus test was positive).

11 January 2020 : After Professor Zhang Yongzhen uploaded the data related to the Wuhan virus gene sequence provided by the authorities to the network for the use of colleagues in the international medical community, his Shanghai laboratory was ordered to be closed and rectified by the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission. It was after he uploaded the data (and was therefore punished) that the National Health Commission announced that it would share the covi genome sequence information with WHO (that was already available online).

12 January 2020 : China's National Health Commission shared the covi genome sequence information with WHO for the first time. In fact, this information already existed as early as 5 January 2020.

14 January 2020 : WHO (not the Chinese authorities) put forward the hypothesis of virus-to-human transmission in Wuhan.

14 January 2020 : Reporters who wanted to report on the epidemic in Jinyintan Hospital in Wuhan were obstructed by the CCP police, and their cameras and mobile phones were all confiscated.

15 January 2020 : The Chinese government responded to the WHO through a speech delivered by Dr. Li Qun, Director of the Emergency Center of the Chinese Centre for Disease Control and Prevention. Li Qun said that the risk of person-to-person transmission of pneumonia in Wuhan is "lower."

17 January 2020 : Wuhan Municipal Health Commission resumes daily updates of new cases of covid that have been discontinued since 5 January.

18 January 2020 : Regardless of the outbreak of the epidemic, Wuhan insists on hosting 10,000 family banquets, and more than 40,000 families have dinner together so that they can apply for the Guinness World Records and become the banquet with the most dishes on display. The Wuhan Municipal People's Government announced the distribution of 200,000 tickets for citizens to visit the park for free from the first to the fifteenth day of the Chinese New Year.

20 January 2020 : SARS authoritative expert Academician Zhong Nanshan said in an interview with CCTV that Wuhan pneumonia must be passed from person to person, and the competent department did not disclose the Wuhan virus information in a timely manner, and there was negligence of duty.

20 January 2020 : Mayor Zhou Xianwang of Wuhan admitted not to disclose all information of covi, but he said he was only following the "Beijing regulations".

23 January 2020 : Wuhan announces the closure of the city, but about 5 million people have left Wuhan without virus detection.

6 February 2020 : President Xi Jinping personally ordered an Internet censorship of all news related to covi, and investigated and punished WeChat criticizing the authorities.

6 February 2020 : "Citizen Reporter" lawyer Chen Qiushi's video showing that the hospitals in Wuhan are overcrowded and countless families are in panic disappeared online.

7 February 2020 : Dr. Li Wenliang (who was detained) who raised the Wuhan virus alarm died of covid. Subsequently, the topic of whether he really converted to Christianity sparked much discussion because he did join a chat room about Christian faith.

9 February 2020 : Another "citizen reporter" Fang Bin "disappeared" in Wuhan after releasing an unlicensed epidemic video.

15 February 2020 : President Xi Jinping ordered  stricter Internet censorship of all content related to covi.

15 February 2020 : Human rights activist Xu Zhiyong, who had publicly persuaded President Xi Jinping to give way to concealing the epidemic, was arrested.

16 February 2020 : Xu Zhangrun, a professor at Tsinghua University, published an article saying that covid "was completely exposed to the decay of the Chinese government's virtue", and the Internet was cut off.

16 February 2020 : Dr. Xiaobo Tao of Guangzhou South China University of Technology and Dr. Lei Xiao of Wuhan University of Science and Technology (Dr. Lei Xiao transliteration) published a paper on the international academic database website Research Gate, suggesting that the source of covi may be the bats of the two Wuhan laboratories (not the wild bats) but the paper soon "disappeared" from the Research Gate website.

19 February 2020 : China expels three Wall Street Journal reporters who reported on the covid epidemic in Wuhan.

26 February 2020 : Xinhua News Agency, a news organization of the Communist Party of China, announced that the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has published a book about to be translated into six languages, reflecting how President Xi Jinping's "excellent leadership as a leader of a great power" has won the epidemic battle.

8 March 2020 : It is said that Chinese embassies abroad received instructions to declare to the outsiders that the Wuhan virus did not originate in China.

12 March 2020 : Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian said publicly that the source of the Wuhan virus was not Wuhan, not China, but the US military that took part in the October Wuhan Military Games from the United States.

14 March 2020 : Chinese tycoon Ren Zhiqiang issued a document to bombard President Xi Jinping's response to the covid epidemic crisis and "lost contact" in Beijing.

18 March 2020 : China announces the expulsion of 13 reporters from the three major US media, The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.

19 March 2020 : The Wuhan Municipal Public Security Bureau “apologies” to Dr. Li Wenliang’s family, admits that his detention is “improper”, and declares that  the Bureau has reprimanded the two police officers who “improperly issued an admonition.”

22 March 2020 : The Chinese media The Global Times mistakenly quoted the statement made by Italian pharmacologist Giuseppe Remuzzi, claiming that covi did not originate from China (nor the United States), but Italy.
