Hong Kong's most popular cat "Brother Cream" passed away at the age of 14 on 24 May 2020. 

The official facebook "Cream Family HK" published a message announcing its death. "Goodbye, our dear cream ... The cream is happy today. Go to Rainbow Bridge and visit its good friends ~ Cream's departure is just to guard everyone in another country. The cream family will continue your mission and continue to promote your positive energy ~ Cream you will always live In our hearts. Let this love continue, and I hope you will go all the way ... If you want to see the cream at the end, you can go to the cream family before 4:00 this afternoon. Thank you for your concern. "



Brother Cream is a star in the cat industry. It has many loyal fans. In the past, Brother Cream also attended public events and appeared with ex-ATV star Wan Qiwen in a special interview photo. It has appeared in promotional photos of Yellow Duck's Rubber Duck to help Hong Kong charities.


The cat also once entered a local book exhibition together for a public release of its book.

Brother Cream has fans from Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia. Russian TV station also sent a team to Hong Kong for interviews. Even CNN also invited its owner Gao Zhicheng to hold the interview with Brother Cream.

The cat has always been at the "Sino Shop" in East Tsim Sha Tsui. Later, due to the difficulty in raising funds for the expensive rental, the convenience store closed in 2016 for a retreat. In October 2017, the cat's owner opened a pet shop on Nathan Road, Yau Ma Tei and named it "Cream Family". Brother Cream returned to Yau Tsim. Today its owner announced the death of Brother Cream.
