The Lysol advertisements in Singapore claim that the Lysol disinfectant sprays can kill many types of coronaviruses including SARS-CoV-2.
An examination on the Lysol and Dettol disinfectant sprays in NTUC Fairprice supermarkets shows that the disinfectant sprays do not kill SARS-CoV-2 at all.
According to the official website of Lysol, the officially accredited Lysol disinfectant sprays by US Environment Protection Agency are EPA#777-99, Max Cover Mist #777-127, Neutra Air 2-in-1 #777-136 and IC Quaternary Disinfectant Cleaner EPA #47311-129-675. These products are not available in Singapore.
