In the afternoon of 18 May 2020, the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission notified a new case of confirmed covid.
Patient by the surname of Ren, from the Hubei city of Qianjiang left for Shanghai in the evening of 14 May 2020 for a job search. On 17 May 2020, the City Center for Disease Prevention and Control nucleic acid test was positive. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings, etc., were diagnosed the case as positive.
After epidemiological investigations, Ren boarded train D354 (8 cars 11B) to Shanghai at 3.49 pm on 14 May 2020. The starting station of the D354 train is Chengdu East, and the final station is Shanghai Hongqiao. The route passes through Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Changzhou, Suzhou, Kunshan and other cities in Jiangsu Province. The departure time of D354 is 7.57 am and the arrival time in Shanghai Hongqiao is 10.19 pm.
Passengers who boarded the train at the same time and who have been moving in the No. 8 cabin car should pay close attention to their physical conditions. If they have fever, cough and other symptoms, please go to a designated fever clinic as soon as possible and inform clinical staff the life track of their last two weeks.
