It is known the covid pandemic originates from Wuhan in December 2019 but the Wuhan Institute of Viology claims it only receives the first human sample of SARS-CoV-2 on 30 December 2019 from Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital. However, French Broadcasting and China Communist Party (CCP) media have been quick to find news on earlier "novel coronavirus" proof in other countries and the CCP media have kept on denouncing CCP's accountability for the virus and pandemic.

The Global Times reproduced news of the Chinese web-site of French Broadcasting, RFI, recently. It is reported the Japanese Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Kato Shinkazu said at a press conference after the cabinet meeting, "The Japanese Red Cross was in Tokyo and six prefectures in Northeast Japan in April 2020, and Kanto Koshihide region in Japan from January to March 2019. 500 blood samples were submitted from the blood donation drive of the areas, and the performance of the antibody test kits produced by five manufacturers was investigated."

The results showed that in the blood donation drive in April 2020, three antibodies were positive with SARS-CoV-2 in Tokyo. There are two cases in the Northeast region, and some of the kits did not detect positives at all. In the blood samples collected from January to March 2019 when the SARS-CoV-2 did not appear, two of them were detected "positive" for the novel coronavirus antibodies although "false positives" are not ruled out.

Since the blood preserved before the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic was also "positive" for the virus antibody, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare believes that it is difficult to determine the reliability performance of the kits and the proportion of antibody present only from these results. For large-scale antibody tests of 1,000 people, in addition to Tokyo and Osaka, which have more infections, regions with fewer infections are also included as candidates.

On 5 May 2020, a doctor named Junya Fukushima published an article on Facebook, saying that a novel coronavirus antibody was found in the serum of a patient in August 2019, and believed that SARS-CoV-2 may have entered Japan in August 2019.

This suggests that SARS-CoV-2 could have highly arrived in Japan from the People's Republic of China (PRC) as "novel coronavirus infection" has been mentioned in the prevention of an epidemic in PRC since the "disappearance" of SARS  in 2004.

On 18 September 2019, the Chinese characters for "novel coronavirus infection"("新型冠状病毒感染") are mentioned during the Wuhan Tianhe International Airport Emergency Response Exercise and is reported by Hubei Daily, the official Communist newspaper of Hubei Province on 26 September 2019, and subsequently reproduced by Xinhua News Agency and Wuhan Customs.

Is "novel coronavirus infection" a threat to the local governments of Hubei and other parts of PRC after 2004? If yes, why were the public and the world not notified of the treat of "novel coronavirus infection"?

The news of RFI and The Global Times have stimulated responses from many netizens who dismissed the news as rumours.

A netizen 7rwFFiQ questioned the accuracy of the Japanese antibody test kits, "Will the basic reading be misleading?"

Another netizen "The north wind blows" confirms,  "When this matter spreads to the wall (PRC), it must become the corona of Japanese origin. Yes, the news is deliberately misleading out of context, the news is a rumour, but it is hard to say."

Japanese netizen @Mujyaki commented, "Just as the papaya test was positive, French Broadcasting wanted to see the CCP’s attitude towards Japan, and handed a knife to see if CCP could catch it."

@Myjyaki was referring to the recent BBC report on papayas and goats in Tanzania that were diagnosed "positive" with SARS-CoV-2 by the novel coronavirus test kits from an unidentified country.

The antibody test kits may have false positive results, and blood samples may be contaminated. If the test operations are not standardized, various types of contamination may occur.

Netizen "yajusenpi acceleration engineer" commented, "To see where it (the virus) originates, one only needs to see where the symptoms of covid broke out first. People consume medical resources on a large scale. The more complicated the research, the more it deviates from the truth."

Netizen "lolicon" remarked, "There is no way to dump the pot, there are countless enemies. I believe that diplomacy is worse than the Cultural Revolution."

Netizen "freechina2018" said, "There was no reason why there was no eruption in March."

However, Japan did not declare any novel coronavirus epidemic to the outside world during January to March 2019.

Netizen "wuliaoderen" commented, "The performance of antibody test kits produced by 5 manufacturers was investigated. The details are not clearly written."

TAMANEGI ends, "It’s strange that the CCP does not make rumours. Now it’s their time to dump the pot to Japan."

Many Chinese in the PRC, officials and embassy staff of the Foreign Ministry of CCP have been quick to quote CCP media's news on earlier "novel coronavirus" detection in other countries such as Italy and France and blame the source of the virus to these countries. However, this time, there are no reactions from the Foreign Ministry on the virus detected in Japan from "January to March 2019".

Japan in recently years has faced novel influenza A (H1N1) outbreaks during winter to spring time but these are under control. Their traditional Avigan drug is used to combat H1N1, influenza and recently covid. As H1N1 is very highly similar to novel coronavirus infection in terms of respiratory symptoms, could there be errors by Japan experts in identifying SARS-CoV-2 in the January to March and August 2019 samples?
