Recently, Wuhan conducted a nucleic acid test at its own expense. Some analysts pointed out that this is purely a farce. The real purpose of the authorities is to let thousands of people in Wuhan take risks, create a fake data, and by the way clean up the inventory of inferior kits returned by countries, and the gene companies that produce the kits take the opportunity to profiteer. Some organizations predict that BGI with an official background can earn 1.2 billion yuan per month.

The Wuhan authorities began a 10-day national nucleic acid test from May 14. On that day, many citizens took the rain to line up for testing, but many people reported that the testing staff did not change their gloves. The public worried about cross infection and questioned the official intention to request testing.

According to statistics from the CCP Statistics Bureau, in 2018, Wuhan had a permanent population of 11.08 million. The nucleic acid tests must be completed within 10 days. The average daily detection amount exceeds one million.

However, the Wuhan authorities previously stated that there are currently 53 nucleic acid testing institutions and 211 nucleic acid testing points in the city, with an average daily testing capacity of 46,000 person-times. At present, there are 111 additional nucleic acid detection points in the local area, and one reduction.

In addition, Hubei has 13 third-party organizations that can carry out SARS-CoV-2 viral nucleic acid testing, 12 of which are located in Wuhan. According to the First Financial Report, the average daily testing capacity of these third-party testing agencies is 10,000-30,000.

Even if these 12 have increased to 30,000 person-times, the daily testing volume is only 360,000 person-times, plus the medical institution's nearly 50,000 person-times, which is still not far from Wuhan's daily average of nearly 1 million.

If the current average price of the third-party testing agency of "260 yuan" is generally considered, if the average daily testing is 400,000, the Wuhan authorities can make a daily payment of 104 million yuan.

In addition, the lowest bidding price for nucleic acid detection reagents is 16.78 yuan and the highest is 24.99 yuan; the lowest price for antibody detection reagents is 12.9 yuan and the highest is 13.885 yuan. Based on the average daily detection volume of 1 million, the total revenue will be in the order of tens of millions.

It is reported that some organizations predict that BGI gene virus detection reagents can make 1.2 billion yuan per month.

Huada Gene is known in the industry as the “gene sequencing leader” in China. Its parent company is Huada Gene Technology Co., Ltd., currently headquartered in Shenzhen, and its predecessor was Beijing Huada Gene Research Center. Outsiders say the company has a strong political and economic background.

The company announced that online rumors are based on production capacity data rather than actual sales data for performance predictions.

The outside world noticed that before the outbreak, some of the selected nucleic acid detection reagent companies had mediocre performances. As soon as the CCP officially announced that all people would be tested, the relevant biomedical stocks began to skyrocket, and executives reduced their holdings.

The Twitter account "Caijing Lengyan"@charles984681 recently tweeted that the nucleic acid detection of 10 million people in Wuhan has become a farce! The real purpose is to allow millions of people to take risks, create a fake data, and clean up the inventory of inferior kits that have been returned. Some companies that produce kits, such as BGI, may make a fortune again, that's all!
