India regulations to note before flying to Indian airports

Indian airports have recently allowed domestic flights to resume. International flights will follow in due course gradually. It is wise to note the India state regulations before tourists plan any trip to Indian airports, besides the regular requirement of India entry-visas.

Andhra Pradesh : All incoming passengers must obtain clearance from the Spandana app before booking tickets and undergo mandatory screening upon arrival.
For flights to Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati.

Assam : All passengers (some exceptions) to undergo 14-day quarantine on arrival.
For flights to Guwahati by Drukair Royal Bhutan Airlines and Indian airlines.

Delhi : Mandatory screening for all incoming passengers. Symptomatic passengers will be taken to the nearest health facility for testing; asymptomatic passengers to undergo 14-day self-monitoring of health. Strict adherence to guidelines issued by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Goa : Symptomatic passengers and those with an international travel history to undergo mandatory testing and quarantine. Asymptomatic passengers to submit one of the following on their self-declaration form: 
  1. Provide a covid negative certificate by an ICMR-authorised lab issued within 48 hours prior to the date of travel. Those without this certificate must undergo mandatory testing by paying INR 2000. 
  2. Get tested by providing swabs at the test centres by paying INR 2000 and ensuring social distancing until results. 
  3. Follow home quarantine for 14 days with stamping. Violation of quarantine shall lead to immediate shifting of the entire family to paid institutionalised quarantine. 
Passengers without a residence in Goa should avoid coming, as no hotels or guesthouses are allowed to function for regular hospitality services.

Karnataka : All incoming passengers must have Seva Sindhu installed at least 4 days before travel and they should not delete it after the journey.
For flights to Bengaluru, Belagavi.

Punjab : All incoming passengers to undergo mandatory screening and 14-day quarantine; if found positive, to go into isolation.
For flights to Amritsar, Chandigarh.

Rajasthan : All incoming passengers to undergo mandatory 14-day quarantine.
For flights to Jaipur, Udaipur.

Tamil Nadu : All incoming passengers to obtain a mandatory TN e-pass by registering on 
https://tnepass.tnega.org before travel. All incoming passengers to undergo thermal screening; symptomatic passengers to be isolated and taken to the nearest health facility and asymptomatic passengers to undergo a 14-day home quarantine. Those without a residence in Tamil Nadu to go into paid institutional quarantine. 
For flights to Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli.

Uttar Pradesh : All incoming passengers to register on 
https://reg.upcovid.inFor any issues faced regarding registration on this website, passengers are requested to call on the toll-free number – 1800-180-5145.
For flights to Lucknow, Agra, Varanasi.

West Bengal : Mandatory screening for all incoming passengers. All passengers to fill and submit health declaration form to the health officials upon arrival. Symptomatic passengers will be taken to the nearest health facility for testing; asymptomatic passengers to self-monitor their health for 14 days.
For flights to Kolkata, Siliguri, flights to Bagdogra by Drukair Royal Bhutan Airlines.
