51-year-old Chinese man died in Singapore due to complications of covid

 A 51-year-old Chinese migrant worker died of complications of covid on 31 May 2020 in Singapore. He is the 24th local death from covid.

According to the Ministry of Health, the deceased was the 17329th case. When he was hospitalized in the intensive care unit at the end of April, he was diagnosed with lymphoma and developed multiple organ failure. Although he was treated for lymphoma, he died of illness on 31 May because of his deterioration. He was diagnosed with covid on 1 May. The National University Hospital has contacted the families of the deceased to provide the necessary assistance.

The Ministry of Manpower issued a statement tonight to express its deep condolences to the families of the deceased. The family of the deceased, the employer and the Chinese embassy in Singapore have all been notified.
