A few days ago, WHO epidemiologist Maria Van Kerkhove said that she was consulting with the China Communist Party to send a team of experts to investigate the source of  SARS-CoV-2, but Chen Xu, the Chinese ambassador to the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, took the opportunity to reject the request. CCP's immature refusal has caused greater suspicion from the outside world.

Comprehensive media reported that the WHO, which has always been biased towards the Chinese Communist Party, suddenly took a 180-degree turn, and publicly expressed its intention to send a team of experts to Wuhan, China, to investigate the source and understand from which animal the virus came from in order to find new ways to fight the disease.  Van Kerkhoff also worried that if the closure of the city was prematurely cancelled, the epidemic might rebound again.

Chen Xu stated that PRC refused investigations, and claimed that the CCP would not invite international experts to investigate the source of SARS-CoV-2 before PRC's “ultimate victory” against the epidemic was achieved.

He also stated strangely, "We need the right atmosphere", and Beijing opposes the "ridiculous politicization" of SARS-CoV-2.

French Broadcasting reported that this sentence seems to imply that many western countries have recently requested an investigation into the source of the Wuhan virus. And many countries, including the United States, are targeting the P4 laboratory of a virus research institute in Wuhan.

Others suspected that if it was not for the P4 laboratory to have an accident, then the lower-level P3 laboratory managed by the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission, which is closer to the Wuhan Huanan Seafood Market, cannot rule out the possibility of a leak.

In addition, the CCP’s wolf diplomats, especially the Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian quoted the conspiracy theory. He publicly alleges that the American soldiers who participated in the Wuhan Military Games in November 2019 brought SARS-CoV-2 to Wuhan. The United States is angry with CCP over the conspiracy theory raised by Lijian. Investigating the source of the virus has become very urgent.

The report said that the prevailing view is that SARS-CoV-2 is not artificially synthesized. As for whether it was caused by a leak in a virus laboratory in Wuhan, the possibility cannot be ruled out. First of all, at the P4 laboratory in Wuhan, the US ambassador discovered a security problem when he visited two years ago, and immediately alerted the US government. Some French experts have also raised doubts about the safety management of this laboratory.

In addition, in the virus laboratory of the Wuhan Center for Disease Prevention and Control, Xiaobo Tao, a professor at the School of Biological Science and Engineering of South China University of Technology, published an English report on the SCRIBD website that pointed out that there have been bat virus infections, and some researchers studying the bat viruses have have been spalshed with the bat blood and urine, and the affected persons had been self-quarantined for 14 days. Later this paper was taken off the Internet.

However, including US Secretary of State Pompeo, it is not believed that the virus was released "intentionally", but leaks caused by security management cannot be ruled out. In this case, since Beijing is convinced that there is no leak in Wuhan Laboratory, why does it not allow international experts to investigate?

Some analysts believe that the international investigation is an opportunity for Beijing to completely whitewash itself. The more Beijing refuses to allow investigations, the more it increases the suspicion of the outside world, which is detrimental to Beijing and also detrimental to scientific research. Because Beijing was accused of concealing the truth at the beginning of the epidemic and wasted the opportunity for international anti-epidemic, the international community has criticized Beijing very much, and Western public opinion has become increasingly unfavorable to China. Why not take this opportunity to clarify everything?

U.S. Secretary of State Pompeo said last week that there is “substantial evidence” that SARS-CoV-2 originated in a laboratory in Wuhan, China. Pompeo said on 6 May 2020 that the United States is not yet sure, but there is a lot of evidence that the virus came from a Wuhan laboratory.

He said: "Every statement is completely coherent ... We are all trying to find the correct answer and try to clarify. The evaluation in different places has different degrees of certainty."
