There is a newly confirmed covid case in Hong Kong. The preliminary investigation on the patient shows no record of outbound travel.
According to the report from Centre for Health Protection, the initially diagnosed patient is a 66-year-old woman. She went to the general outpatient clinic of Mrs. Wu Ruoyu in Kwai Chung earlier. After leaving samples for testing, she was found to be positive with SARS-CoV-2. The patient has been sent to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment.
From 20 April 20 to 12 May 2020 morning in Hong Kong, there have been 23 consecutive "zero" infections. There have been preliminary confirmed cases without outbound travel records today. If the diagnosis is finally confirmed, the local "zero" infection record will be "broken".
